The rarest eagle in the world, the Philippine Eagle.

These eagles are critically endangered and the IUCN estimates 180-500 individuals remain in the wild. These eagles are on the brink of extinction because their habitats on the Philippine Islands are threatened by deforestation and mining.

The proceeds of this artwork will go to The Haribon Foundation, a Philippines pioneer environmental organisation that protects rainforests and marine ecosystems and empowers the local community. Critical projects performed by them in partnership with BirdLife International have led to reforestation, Philippine Eagle conservation programs and powerful policy making.
