General information terms

The information on this website is intended solely for the personal non-commercial use of the user who accepts full responsibility for its use and interpretation. While we have taken every precaution to insure that the projects & blog content of this website is both current and accurate, errors can occur. The information contained on this website is general in nature. Art 4 Conservation assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the projects & blog content of this website. The information contained on this website is provided on an ‘as is’ basis with no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, usefulness or timeliness and without any warranties of any kind whatsoever, express or implied. Art 4 Conservation does not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, error-free, omission-free or free of viruses or other harmful items. All views expressed in the blog section are thoughts and opinions that belong solely to the authors involved.

While we always strive to link art subjects to relevant conservation projects, it is not always possible to find a project that meets our selection criteria. We therefore sometimes allow ourselves some flexibility when it comes to selecting the geographical scope and the subject matter of the projects we support. This can for example result in certain artworks supporting a family of wildlife species instead of the specific species portrayed on the painting. It can also happen that the proceeds of the artwork that portrays a specific animal from one continent go to a project on another continent if that project is regarded as more relevant.

Printing & Pricing policy

Prints sold by Art 4 conservation will be as close to the original artwork as possible but will not be 100% identical to it or to what is shown on the website due to differences in monitors, mobile screens, dimensions, medium and perceptual differences during paper profiling, color matching and soft proofing. The pricing of our fine art prints includes printing and handling costs whilst all the remaining proceeds go to the dedicated wildlife charity organisations (original artwork prices includes similar costs).

Unavoidable credit transaction costs take a significant portion of our smaller print proceeds. If possible, consider a traditional bank transfer.

Taxation

Although the platform is donating proceeds to wildlife charity projects, Art 4 Conservation itself is currently not registered to make artwork purchases tax deductible. Donations are only tax deductible through donating directly to the projects and if those projects are officially registered as accepting gifts for charity.

All prices and shipping rates on this platform exclude taxes and duties. Additional taxes and duties may be charged in countries such as the UK and other non-EU countries.
