Putri The Soul of Sumatra

Sumatran Tiger artwork entitled 'Putri, the Soul of Sumatra', embellished to celebrate Earth Day. Artwork inspired by the story of a female Sumatran Tiger called 'Putri Singgulung' who was rescued and relocated to a conservation area in West Sumatra. The operation was funded by a controversial paper logging company in Sumatra and illustrates the complexity of mass deforestation, human wildlife conflict and endangered species conservation.

The proceeds of this artwork will go to The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. DSWF is a highly effective wildlife conservation charity operating across Africa and Asia to end wildlife crime and protect endangered species in their natural habitat. Working from grassroots to the world stage, DSWF adopts a holistic approach to conservation. They put people at the heart of their work and take into consideration the vital importance of communities in the fight to protect the world’s most endangered wildlife.
