Watercolor impression of a Steller's Sea Eagle, from my love for birds and larger raptors.

Steller's Sea Eagles are mostly regarded as the largest eagle in the world. They live on the pack ice of northern Japan and can also be found along the coastlines of Eastern Russia, Korea, China, etc. This painting tries to capture the moment of sudden take-off, along with a sense of movement and abstraction of the background.

The proceeds of this artwork will go to BirdLife International, a renowned NGO working tirelessly to save thousands of bird species focused across the world including Asia, with many success stories and a heavy focus on ecosystem & bird species protection.
