Material

Watercolor impression portraying the chaos of the King Penguin colonies on the Island of South Georgia (Antarctica). An iconic wildlife event that I have yet to witness myself.

The proceeds of this artwork will go to the South Georgia Heritage Trust, a charity that is very experienced in preserving the Cultural and Natural heritage of this extraordinary island. Their conservation programs have paid off in the past with measurable results; South Georgia is for example rodent-free thanks to many efforts, and new research and monitoring programs on Albatrosses and whales are currently conducted to avoid bycatch in the fishing industry.
